SISTERS

We love being silly--just got our nails done by a visiting missionary!
Ncamsile and Jane have become two of my closest friends. We come from worlds apart--geographically, economically, racially, culturally. Kodvwa Nkhulunkhulu ("but God"--see Ephesians 2:1-10) made all three of us alive in Christ, and we are joyfully sisters in Him! Ncamsile is a natural leader and it takes very little encouragement for her to begin loudly proclaiming the Gospel and exuberantly leading others to the Lord! She is also one of the most amazing singers I have ever heard--leading women in beautiful praise and worship Swazi style--loud, joyous, beautiful. Jane is quieter and has one of the biggest servants hearts of anyone I have ever known. When others are being blessed, and she is supposed to be one of the recipients, she instead chooses to give to others--always. She works so hard we have to encourage her to rest but she rarely listens. These women have been such a huge help to me in ministry, but more than that, they teach me--about faith, about agape love, and about the heart of our Father. I am humbled by their patience in affliction, their joy in adversity, and their trust in our God.
