Weeping as we left loved ones behind…joy as we landed on African soil.
Weeping with frustration as things progress slowly and don’t go “our” way…joy as God shows us His perfect timing and way.
Weeping as we see hungry children with no shoes on their cold feet…joy as we witness the donation of blankets to those children whose smiles would melt the coldest heart.
Weeping as we hear of a local 8-year- old boy who just died of AIDS…joy as we see God’s Church reaching out to help those who are suffering.
Weeping as we miss loved ones…joy as we are greeted with big smiles, warm hugs, and shy voices welcoming us “home” to Swaziland.
